Work with Me

Research shows that micro-influencers (which includes bloggers and Instagrammers like me) are being trusted nearly as much as people’s friends and neighbours. Influencer Marketing is a growing trend, and here are some ways in which I can help you promote your business, brand, event or venue.

Sponsored Posts & Reviews

If you’re looking for bloggers to feature your brand, product or service, there are plenty of ways we can work together. As a family, we enjoy putting things to the test and like to create engaging marketing content that is honest, trustworthy and thoughtful. Although I do occasionally write normal review posts (like this Bravado Nursing Bra review), I prefer to write from a specific angle to make the content much more appealing. This could be by writing about a complementary topic (as in my post I’ve become Merchandise Obsessed! for Spearkmark) or with a narrative story theme (like our quest to find muddy puddles for our Lottie Dolls review). In Spring 2017, we were also one of three product testers for Mother & Baby magazine’s Big Test for Stage 1/2/3 car seats.

If you’re not looking for a full blog post, I also feature items in other posts (see this #LittleLoves post as an example featuring a Pickle hipflask from The British Belt Company) and can also offer advertising across my social media channels, like this Instagram post created after reviewing For Aisha baby food.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the brilliant blog post, the imagery is just lovely and it’s just a fantastic review. The team at head office sent me the link today saying how pleased they were with it!

– Feedback from my post celebrating Rhythm Time’s 21st Birthday

I am proud to have had some fantastic feedback on my contributions to campaigns I have been involved in, with my photography being used for further marketing purposes and often leading to further work.

I particularly enjoy forging long lasting working relationships with the companies we love, like The Essential One and Johnsons Baby, and find as time passes, our work together becomes even more worthwhile and exciting. I also work on gift guides, giveaways and editorial content and can offer various levels of work and services to be accommodating to varying budgets when review products aren’t included. Please note: I operate with full and honest disclosure and adhere to ASA codes and Google guidelines.

Freelance Content Writing

As well as writing for my own blog, I also produce written content for other companies’ websites, including being commissioned to write regularly for The Essential One‘s Help and Advice website (Dealing with Unwanted Advice is one such example). I can write confidently on a wide range of parenting topics but have notable experience in breastfeeding (see my post for Medela on my breastfeeding journey), attachment parenting and family outdoors adventures.

As a theatre graduate from the University of Warwick and having worked for many years in the theatre industry, I have particular expertise in culture, and I enjoy writing, talking and advocating for this from a parent’s perspective.
